Mint People are hiring experienced Chefs for flexible agency work across Manchester.

We have regular Chef shifts available across hospitality, leisure, events and contract catering venues, including hotels, stadiums, restaurants, schools, events and premium hospitality sites.

This role is ideal for Chefs looking for weekly pay, flexible shifts, extra hours, full-time work, part-time work or ongoing agency work.

We only recruit when we have work available, and we currently have plenty of shifts ready to fill.

About the role

As a Mint People Chef, you will support kitchen teams across a range of venues in and around Manchester.

You may work across different kitchen sections depending on your experience, the site and the shift requirements. You will help prepare food, support service and maintain high kitchen standards.

You will need to be reliable, professional and confident working in busy kitchen environments.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing food to a high standard

Working across kitchen sections when required

Following instructions from the Head Chef, Sous Chef or kitchen lead

Supporting the wider kitchen team during service

Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe

Following food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures

Helping with stock control and reporting low supplies when needed

What we need from you

Previous experience as a Chef, Agency Chef, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Hospitality Chef, Event Chef or Contract Catering Chef

Confidence working in busy kitchens

Good communication skills

A reliable and professional attitude

Good written and spoken English

Right to live and work in the UK

A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred for some venues, but this is not essential.
