Pay Rate: £15.67 per hour

About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy kitchen in Plymouth (PL21).

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and enthusiastic chef looking for a fantastic work-life balance, with Monday to Thursday working hours and no weekend shifts.

You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfasts and lunches while maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities a Chef de Partie: Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch service

Managing your own section within the kitchen

Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a high standard

Supporting the wider kitchen team during service

Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards

Assisting with stock rotation and food storage

Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations

About YouWe're looking for someone who is passionate about food and thrives in a busy kitchen environment.

Essential Requirements a Chef de Partie:Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar chef position

Experience preparing fresh, high-quality food

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate 

Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude

What's on Offer£15.67 per hour

Monday to Thursday only

7:00am – 2:00pm shifts

No weekends

Temporary contract from 3rd August 2026 to 3rd September 2026

Potential for the contract to be extended
