MCG Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established holiday hotel in Somerset to recruit a passionate Commis Chef looking to develop their career in a busy, professional kitchen.

Whether you've recently completed your training or already have experience as a Commis Chef, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced chefs, work with fresh ingredients, and build the skills needed to progress your culinary career.

The Role

As part of a supportive kitchen brigade, you'll:

Prepare and cook fresh food using quality ingredients.

Assist senior chefs during busy service.

Learn new techniques and develop your culinary skills every day.

Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.

Help deliver consistently high-quality food for hotel guests.

Work as part of a positive, friendly and hardworking team.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef within a fresh food kitchen.

A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pride in producing quality food and supporting the wider kitchen team.
