This isn't a role where you're expected to simply maintain standards. You'll have real input into the menu, kitchen culture, team development, and the overall direction of the food offering.

The RoleAs Head Chef, you'll take ownership of a busy city-centre kitchen, leading from the front and creating a positive, high-performing environment for your team.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading, inspiring and developing a passionate kitchen team

Driving food quality and consistency across service

Working closely with senior leadership on menu development and innovation

Managing labour, GP and kitchen costs effectively

Recruiting, training and nurturing future talent

Creating a positive kitchen culture where people want to stay and grow

Maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards

Contributing ideas around concepts, events and future food direction

What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready for the next step

A genuine passion for fresh food and quality ingredients

Strong leadership and people development skills

Commercial awareness and understanding of kitchen finances

Creativity and enthusiasm for menu development

Calm under pressure and capable of leading busy services

Someone who wants to be part of building something rather than simply managing it
