Head Chef – Bath – Brand New Asian Fusion Restaurant – Up to £60,000 plus Tronc
We are recruiting a Head Chef for an exciting new Asian fusion restaurant opening in the heart of Bath, offering a rare opportunity to lead a kitchen from launch and help create one of the South West's most talked-about dining destinations.

This brand-new restaurant will combine bold flavours, exceptional ingredients, and contemporary cooking techniques to create an exciting Asian fusion dining experience.
While located within a luxury hotel, the restaurant will operate as a standalone destination in its own right, with a focus on attracting local diners and visitors seeking outstanding lunch and dinner experiences.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape a concept from the ground up. From menu development and kitchen design to team recruitment and culinary direction, you will have significant input into every aspect of the operation as it prepares to open its doors.
Benefits:
Salary of £55,000 to £60,000

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating the culinary identity of the restaurant, building and leading the kitchen team, and ensuring exceptional standards are achieved from day one.
This role would suit an ambitious Sous Chef looking to take their first Head Chef position, or an existing Head Chef seeking the challenge and excitement of launching a new restaurant.
As Head Chef you will:
Lead the development of innovative Asian fusion menus
Recruit, train, and inspire your kitchen brigade
Establish kitchen systems, standards, and procedures ahead of opening
Drive creativity while maintaining consistency and quality
Manage food costs, stock control, and kitchen budgets
Build strong relationships with suppliers and producers
Ensure all food safety and compliance standards are maintained
Create a positive, ambitious, and professional kitchen culture
Play a key role in the overall success and growth of the restaurant
The ideal candidate will have a strong fresh food background, excellent leadership skills, and the creativity and ambition required to help build a destination restaurant from scratch.
