Wilson’s Manchester is hiring a new Line Chef!
Wilson’s is a vibrant, all day, bar and restaurant in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Blending relaxed brunch, modern small plates and a strong drinks offering, the venue transitions seamlessly from daytime brunch culture into a lively late-night social venue, with live music, events and a packed weekend trade.
Rooted in a casual, high-volume environment with a strong local following, Wilson’s is built on quality, consistency and personality, making it an exciting place for a Line Chef looking to develop their skills and become part of a fast-paced kitchen team.

The kitchen is open from 9am, seven days a week, but closes by 8pm during the week and 7pm at weekends, allowing you to take back control of your evenings!
What You’ll Be DoingThis is a hands-on role. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team to deliver consistently great food while keeping service organised, efficient and running smoothly.
Deliver great food: Prepare, cook and present dishes consistently and to the required standard.
Support service: Work efficiently across your section and communicate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team.
Keep it clean: Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards throughout every shift.
Prepare for success: Complete daily preparation and ensure your section is fully stocked and ready for service.
Maintain quality: Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards to reduce waste and protect consistency.
Support the team: Help create a positive, focused kitchen environment and assist colleagues when required.
Develop your skills: Take pride in your work, learn from the senior kitchen team and contribute ideas as the food offering evolves.
