Mobile Catering Manager

Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Catering Supervisor to support a large, well-established public sector catering operation across a number of schools in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, leading teams, and ensuring high standards are maintained across multiple sites. The role is primarily supervisory, with only occasional hands-on cooking when required.

The Role

Supporting and supervising catering teams across a portfolio of school kitchens.

Providing cover for absences and ensuring sites continue to operate smoothly.

Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and service.

Assisting with stock control, ordering, and compliance.

Coaching and supporting kitchen staff where needed.

Travelling between sites throughout the working week.

We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Catering Supervisor, Chef Manager, Kitchen Manager or Mobile Catering Manager.

Experience working within school catering, education, contract catering or a similar environment.

Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum, Level 3 desirable).

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

What's on Offer?

£20.00-£22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Minimum 3-6 month contract, with potential for extension.

Monday-Friday daytime hours.

Weekly pay through Berkeley Scott.
