£14.00 per hour * 32 hours per week * Tuesday Thursday Friday Saturday * 8am-4pm

Our care home in Central New Milton is seeking a reliable and confident Part-Time Cook to join our team.

You will be responsible for independently preparing and cooking meals for 19 residents, ensuring high-quality, nutritious food is delivered every day.

Key Information

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Hours: 32 hours per week

Working Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Shift Times: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Central New Milton

Environment: Cooking alone in a friendly care home kitchen

Role Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present meals to an agreed standard for 19 residents

Plan and manage daily meal production independently

Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment

Ensure dietary requirements and preferences are followed

Manage stock rotation and basic ordering as required

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef, ideally in a care home or similar environment

Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen

Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergens

Good knowledge of ingredients and basic cooking methods

Positive, dependable, and approachable manner
