We are looking for a passionate and talented Chef for one our clients to join their team at a local Pub. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is eager to develop their culinary skills within a supportive and professional team.

As Chef, you will take responsibility for your designated kitchen section, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while supporting the wider kitchen operation to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Key responsibilities as a chef:Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.

Follow recipes, specifications, and presentation guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.

Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards at all times.

Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste.

Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient and successful service.

Contribute ideas towards menu development and seasonal specials.

Ensure food storage, labelling, and temperature controls meet all regulatory requirements.

Maintain a positive, professional attitude during busy service periods.

What we're looking for as a chef:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to take the next step.

Passion for fresh food, quality ingredients, and excellent cooking standards.

Good knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen best practices.

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a busy environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
