The RoleAs Head Chef, you’ll be the driving force behind a modern, fresh-food menu that reflects the pub’s character and community. You’ll lead from the front, set the tone for quality, and create a kitchen culture built on pride, development, and high performance.
You will:
Design and deliver a menu that champions fresh, seasonal, gastro-led dishes
Recruit, train, and mentor a motivated kitchen team
Maintain exceptional food safety, cost control, and GP management
Work closely with the GM to elevate the pub’s reputation and guest experience
Bring creativity, consistency, and calm leadership to a busy suburban venue
About YouProven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
Passionate about fresh food, flavour, and modern pub dining
A natural leader who develops people, not just manages them
Commercially aware with strong understanding of GP, stock, and kitchen systems
Calm, organised, and energised by a fast-paced environment
