HEAD CHEF – Chinese Restaurant | Brighton

Salary: £42,000–£48,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

We are an established and growing Chinese restaurant in Brighton, looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen.

We are also interested in hearing from experienced chefs who are looking for part-time or hourly-paid work. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed for the right candidate.

Responsibilities• Lead the daily operation of the kitchen

• Maintain consistently high food quality and presentation
• Supervise, train and motivate the kitchen team
• Ensure excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Manage stock, ordering and food cost control
• Work closely with management to improve kitchen efficiency

Requirements• Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef

• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen management
• Chinese language skills are preferred to communicate effectively with the existing kitchen team
